Malta Europe’s Most Crowded Country. Tiny island nation Malta is the most densely populated of the 27 EU member states, with 1,274 people per square kilometre according to report.

On the other hand England is a country next to Malta as Europe’s Crowded Country with 395 persons per square kilometre according to ONS – Office for National Statistics.

It is estimated that England’s population density will rise to 464 people per square kilometre by 2031.
